Advisory Board

The board’s role

What the board does not do

  • It is not a board of directors: it makes no decisions for Fawzooz, commits it to nothing, and does not speak in its name.
  • It does not assess: it does not mark the gates, issue certificates or accept scholars.
  • It vouches for nothing: it does not mean that anyone has approved any programme.

They review a degree or two of the Wise AI Ambassador in their field, once a year.

Their view of what is new

They read a book or a framework before it comes out, if they wish.

Meeting the scholars

A session or a recorded conversation with one of the cohorts, once a year.

Making Fawzooz known

They suggest organisations and communities that would gain from it.

Nominating scholars

They nominate five people a year for the Wise AI Ambassador scholarship.

The board’s meetings

Two online meetings a year, or a view by message.
